WHY I LOVE MAC MIDIMAUVE LIPSTICK.

With all of the wild and crazy lipsticks out there at the moment, it's a wonder that any firm fashion sticks in the world of lips. However, whilst beautiful berries and sensual plums seem to last only for a season or two, one trend that looks set to stick around for good is the timelessly classic, nude lip.

Available in a ton of different variations and ready to buy in gloss, liner, stick and everything else form, the nude fashion trend is one that has quite literally taken the world by storm.

When everybody first became transfixed by life in nude, none of us ever seemed to catch on that this would turn into one of the biggest makeup marvels ever. I mean, come on, who doesn't love a good nude?

Over the last several years, I've invested in more than my fair shade of nude lipsticks and developed some firm favourites, too - MAC Blankety, anyone? But, whilst there are cult classics and ones that we inevitably 'always go back to', the variety of nude shades continues to grow.

Whilst it's quite a bit deeper in colour than my usual shade, it's still very natural and 'real' looking - I'm not a fan of overly-bright, punchy colours as I tend to prefer a more natural makeup look - and Midimauve is perfect for this.
