In my makeup bag at the moment, I've got 3 different concealers - two are premium brand ones costing about £25+ each, and then there's one little budget beauty which I absolutely adore just as much as the others...
The KIKO Full Coverage Concealer comes in a variety of different shades, lasts for ages and costs no more than £8.
Yep, you read that correctly - eight English pounds. £7.50 to be completely precise.
And it's just fantastic.
I've been using this concealer for about 3 years now and it's one of my must-have beauty staples. As soon as I run out, I am straight back to KIKO to restock because I simply can't be without this miniature compact of glory.
My other concealers are liquid formulas that work great when blended with foundation, however, the KIKO one is a cream. I find that the thick, dense consistency and the buildable coverage of this concealer works great on blemishes or any dark areas that need a little perk-up. Also, it's almost impossible to over-apply, too. I sometimes find that pump-action concealers squirt out too much all at once and I often end up wasting product, but this one is great for applying as much or as little as you like.
Unlike foundation, which should match your skin tone seamlessly, concealer should be bought to create a clear glow and a luminosity to your complexion, so I always recommend choosing one that's at least one to two shades lighter than your natural skin colour. I tan quite regularly so even if I haven't been away, I tend to always have quite a golden tone to my skin, but when buying the KIKO Full Coverage Concealer, I always go for shade 02, just so I get that real brightening effect and can illuminate all of the areas that I want to stand out.
I'm always surprised by the number of people that still haven't tried KIKO cosmetics. The brand itself is completely affordable for every budget, but the quality of the products often matches that of high-end. So, if you haven't already, next time you walk by that KIKO store in your shopping centre, why not pop your head in and have a mooch around? I strongly recommend the lipglosses, mascara and of course my must-have concealer.
Let me know how you get on girlies, and stay tuned for more beauty, fashion and lifestyle posts heading your way very soon!
Lots of love,
Grace x
