I think if there's one thing that I've learnt about fashion, particularly in my adult life, it's that old saying of 'what goes around, comes around'. Naturally, fashion changes from season to season, but ultimately, chic, classy pieces never really go out of fashion at all.
If I were to describe my fashion sense, I would probably opt for the words 'simplistic and classy'. It's fairly unusual for me to buy any really bold, bright prints or anything too 'in your face' as such, as I like to dress my clothes up or play them down by accessorizing them with the right bits and pieces.
If you were to delve in my wardrobe, you'd find lots of neutral pinks, blacks, khaki's, nudes and beiges, which to some, might sound really boring, but typically speaking, I like to stick to what I know, and why the hell not?
In my eyes, the colours I dress myself in tie in perfectly with the whole timeless and classic thing. Don't get me wrong, I love the occasional vampy red or hot pink here and there, but if we're generalising, I almost always opt for neutral shades.
So, it'll come as pretty much no shock to anybody when I ordered two pairs of patent heels from Office last week - one in a neutral pink, and one in a classic nude.
This gorgeous, glamorous pair of patent pretties are without a shadow of a doubt my new favourite heels - they're just beautiful.
I bought these shoes partly because they were discounted (everybody loves a bargain right?) but also because I really needed some new heels, and I wanted something I could wear both with skinny jeans/trousers, or in the evening with a nice dress or a skirt.
I love this style of shoe because they're so classy, and the pointed toe looks just as gorgeous with jeans as it does with an evening dress. Perfect!
Later this week, I'm going to show you the different ways in which I've been wearing these little beauties, so stay tuned for that! But, for now, I just wanted to show you my nice new little purchases, and give you a little shoe-inspo.
I hope you enjoyed this post, dolls. Keep your eyes peeled for more exciting stuff coming to Exclusively Grace very soon!
Lots of love,
Grace x
These shoes are so beautiful and like you said, so classy! X
