CAUDALIE SKINCARE: WORTH THE HYPE OR NOT?

After finally getting around to trying beauty cult classic, the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, I was keen to try more products from Caudalie to see if they lived up to the hype of this one. I absolutely love the Caudalie Beauty Elixir and how it makes my skin look and feel, but, as we all know, some products aren't worth the hype. 

So, what did I think of the other Caudalie products that I recently tried?

Well, to start with, I'll explain how I came to buy the Caudalie Detoxifying Mask and the Foaming Cleanser...

Basically, after falling head over heels in love with the Caudalie Beauty Elixir, I made that classic school girl error of spraying it every five minutes for two weeks, meaning that it ran out preeetty quickly. So, in a nutshell, I needed a replacement - pronto.

Unless I'm in a major hurry to make an order, I do try to shop around online a little to try and get the best deal on products - after all, if I can save a bit of money, even if it's just a couple of quid, I may as well do it, right?

So, I was looking for the best price for the Caudalie Beauty Elixir online, and I stumbled across an absolute bargain bundle where you could get a full sized Beauty Elixir plus the Detoxifying Mask and the Foaming Cleanser for the same price as the Beauty Elixir on its own on another website.

It goes without saying that I snapped this deal up straight away. I'd been keen to try some other Caudalie products anyway, so this was pretty much the perfect opportunity to do so.

So, the big question is, did the other two products impress me as much as the Beauty Elixir?

Well, unfortunately, the answer to that is no, they didn't.

Although neither of these products negatively affected my skin, I was hoping for a little more. I feel like there's nothing 'wrong' with these products, but I guess I've used alternatives in the past that better suit my skin, and so I've been left a little disappointed.

Fortunately, as these products came in a bundle with the one item that I was looking to buy anyway, I didn't waste any money here - which is always a good thing - but I am genuinely a bit sad that the other Caudalie items haven't been as amazing as I wanted them to be!

With all of that said, what works well for one person doesn't always work great for another, so you might try these products and think they're incredible! Unfortunately, for me, they just aren't items that I would be in a rush to re-purchase.
