HOUSE UPDATE: MASTER BEDROOM AND LIVING ROOM COMPLETION.

For those of you that don't already know, Marc and I bought our very first house together earlier this year, and over the last two months, we've been having various bits and pieces done to the house, as well as buying new furniture and everything else.

Not so long ago, I did actually share some photographs of the house from when we first bought it, but a lot of changes have been made since then, and after our oak furniture from Arighi Bianci arrived yesterday, things have really started to fall into place and I'm so happy with how everything looks!

We still need to buy a bed for our second bedroom, and we're also getting a brand new bathroom fitted, but for now, I'd like to share with you a few photographs of our master bedroom and the living room now that all our decorating is done and furniture has arrived!

I've always dreamed about owning my own home and how I would decorate and furnish it, and now I can't even explain how exciting it is to be able to put all of those thoughts and ideas to use.

As you can probably tell, we've gone for that really cosy but chic vibe with our decorating and furnishings. Our house is a proper country cottage, so this really suits the style and age of the house. I love it!

Having an original traditional wood burner is such a blessing, particularly during Autumn and Winter

Our sofas were made to order from Housing Units (well worth the three month wait). I ordered the mirror from Wayfair

I'm so in love with our bedroom. This room is absolutely huge. We also have a feature wall facing the bed which I will add a photo of soon!

So pretty!
