A LITTLE CATCH-UP AND TALKING ABOUT CHRISTMAS.

I can't remember a time in my life when everything has been quite so hectic as it is right now. The first month of my new job has flown by in what feels like lightning speed, and the mad Christmas rush only seems to have fast-forwarded things even more. In a nutshell, life is good, but I have absolutely  no idea where the time is going right now.

Anyway, as it's been a while since I last posted, I thought it'd be nice for me to share a little 'catch-up' blog post with you all to update you on what's going on in my life, and also just to share a few festive photographs!

For those of you that don't already know, Christmas is my favourite time of the year - not because of the presents, but just because of how it seems to fill everybody with cheer. Everybody seems to have a little spring in their step at Christmas time, which I love. I'm also a huge lover of winter fashion and let's face it, the concept of eating more chocolate is never a bad thing, right?

My one concern about this Christmas was that everything would get on top of me and I'd melt under the pressure of having so much to do and to sort out. Fortunately, my new job is going incredibly well and I can safely say that in spite of things moving quickly, I am genuinely very happy in my life right now.

And of course, one thing that is making me extra happy is all the gorgeous Christmas decorations that are floating around right now! I've always loved really over-the-top glamorous decorations - the likes of Kris Jenner's hallway and New York's Rockefeller Centre fill me with festive joy - but there's nothing quite like getting your own house ready for Christmas for the very first time.

I've been a homeowner now for 4 months - again, Lord knows where that time has vanished - so this year has been the first year that I've been able to decorate my own home, and I've just loved every second! I'm a huge fan of all the lovely champagne golds, metallics and glitters during the festive season, so our house is looking a lot like a pretty, golden grotto right now.

And outside is a lot like a grotto, too! I took some amazing snow pictures whilst at my parent's house last week.

The snow gets so deep where I live, and whilst I have to admit that it is pretty impractical/makes every day life difficult, it just looks so pretty, I can't help but love it anyway!

I'm literally writing this blog post on my lunch at work, so as much as I would love to share more with you, I'll have to save it for the next post! I've got lots of exciting things coming your way soon, so keep your eyes peeled, lovelies!

Lots of love,
Grace x
