When it comes to perfume, there are a very small, select few
fragrances that I repeatedly buy. It’s not often that I find a fragrance I love
so much that I have to have it, and so I rarely stray away from the likes of Giorgio Armani Si and D&G L’Imperatrice. Occasionally, I might give something else
a try, but generally speaking, I stick to what I know.
I have, however, just discovered a new fragrance which I’ve
fallen completely head over heels in love with. Coach Eau de Parfum is sweet
and musky all at once, and I honestly can’t get enough of it!
Marc bought me this perfume for Christmas. Originally, I was
torn between this and Tom Ford Orchid Soleil, but there’s something so sensualabout Coach, I just had to have it.
If we’re comparing this fragrance to others on the market,
the closest match would probably be Armani Si, which, as I’ve already
mentioned, I totally love. It has top notes of Mandarin, Violet Accord,
Waterlily and Guava, each contributing to that stunning sweet, fruity and
mildly floral scent. Base notes include Sandalwood, Iris Amber Wood Accord,
Skin Accord and Vanilla, which marry together perfectly, creating a scent that’s
long-lasting and intense without being overpowering.
Not only does this perfume smell great, it looks beautiful,
too. This might not be a huge selling
point for a lot of people (which is fine), but I have to say, I really do love
the bottle that it comes in. I know that the packaging of perfumes is probably
the least important thing, but I have always been a sucker for a pretty bottle –
and this one is just so gorgeous! It’s a sort of round, flat shape and the
famous Coach logo is embossed in the glass. The spray is gold and there are two
dog tags on the top – one leather, and one gold. For me, this perfume is one of
those that is pretty enough to leave out on display without looking tacky or
distasteful, so, if you have a dressing table and you like to accessorise with
a few of your prettiest products, this perfume is ideal.
Marc bought my 90ml bottle of Coach Eau de Parfum together with
the matching body lotion from House of Fraser, but if you’d like to shop
around, you’ll find that most department stores and leading online fragrance
retailers also stock it.
I really hope you enjoyed this blog post. Stay tuned for more coming your way very soon.
Lots of love,
Grace x
