WHY JO MALONE FRAGRANCES ARE MY FAVOURITE.

When it comes to clothes shopping, I'm more than happy to admit that the high street is where it's at for me. At this point in my life, I literally wouldn't be able to splurge on tons of designer outfits, and while it would be lovely to fill my wardrobe with famous names, I find that the high street almost always completely satisfies my fashion needs. However, when it comes to fragrance and beauty, my outlook is completely different.

For me, luxury fragrances and beauty products are some of the best things money can buy. I love the feel of luxury fragrances and I love how they make me feel. There's something really empowering about wearing a fragrance that I feel I can somehow relate to and while some people may argue that it's 'just a perfume', for me, having a 'signature scent' is so much more than just 'wearing perfume'.

I first discovered my passion for luxury perfumes back in high school (so literally 10 years ago now - how scary?!) My mum would always have a few really nice designer perfumes and when I was going out with my friends - even if just for a sleepover or something - I would always dash into my mum and dad's room and spritz myself with one of her fragrances. Back then, most of the girls I knew were using either celebrity fragrances or just simple body sprays, so I always felt a little bit 'fancy' somehow, wearing something expensive.

Though my mum didn't realise it back then, her taste for the finer things in life was rubbing off on me at an early age and I quickly became enamoured by premium brand perfumes and beauty products. And I'll be honest, having a soft spot for luxury products does come at a price, but I honestly wouldn't have it any other way.

One thing that I'm really, really loving right now is all the fresh, vibrant, citrus notes found in summer scents. I've always adored fresh smells - they just feel light and, well, refrehing! - and for me, there is one woman in particular that is simply killing the perfume game right now. I am of course talking about the one and only, Jo Malone.

Everybody knows who Jo Malone is, and everybody who doesn't - where have you been all this time?! Jo Malone has become world-famous for her sensational collection of candles, room sprays, diffusers and perhaps most popular of all, her perfumes. Completely luxurious and entirely addictive, everything about the Jo Malone experience is just 'right', which is why I will always, always, always be faithful to her brand.

When you walk into any Jo Malone store, you are not only met with the most unbelievable scent, but also the most opulent and stunning surroundings. The signature black and white theme of her products has become just as famous as the products themselves, and every time I go in, I'm always totally enamoured with the experience. Everything is classy and luxurious and it's just completely impossible not to try out all the different scents.

Jo's attention to detail is just everything, and the deep, distinctive scents found in her perfumes, candles, room sprays and diffusers are something I just can't help but get excited about. In my opinion, every woman should own at least one item from Jo Malone. After all, us ladies all deserve a little luxury in our lives.
