BABE PERFUME REVIEW.

The perfect way to complete any gorgeous outfit, a spritz of perfume will instantly elevate your outfit and inject an added touch of glamour.

I don’t know about you, but I just don’t feel complete until I’ve sorted myself with a gorgeous scent. To me, a beautiful fragrance is just such an effortless enhancement that makes an enormous difference. 

So, when the lovely team at Fuel PR sent me a bottle of Babe Perfume to try, I couldn’t wait to tear open the packaging and get spritzing. 

Babe Perfume, which usually retails for just short of £20, was shortlisted for a Pure Beauty Award in 2015, and is presented in a fairly simple round-shaped bottle with a gold lid and ‘Babe’ written on the front in a pretty shade of orange.  And whilst I’ll happily admit that this isn’t probably the type of fragrance that would normally pull me in (I tend to prefer a more high-end look), I do like the fact there’s nothing gimmicky about the packaging. So, so far, all good!

But what is the fragrance itself like? And is this the type of fragrance I would genuinely choose to wear? 

If I’m being completely honest, no, it isn’t. However, the fragrance is in no way unpleasant or offensive - or just isn’t the type of thing I would normally go for. 

If I were to describe the way Babe perfume smells, I would say ‘classic' and 'romantic'. The notes are musky and floral as opposed to sweet and fruity (which I tend to wear, usually), and the scent is definitely very distinctive.

This perfume actually reminds me of one I bought in Greece when I was younger - a rub-on perfume in a traditionally-styled Greek pot. It was the first fragrance I ever bought myself and I absolutely loved it! And for this reason, I think the Babe perfume is probably better suited to younger girls who perhaps don’t have the budget to buy premium brand fragrances. 

I can imagine that if I was in my teens, this perfume would really excite me. So, if you’re in your teens or you know somebody that is and you feel like treating them, this little bottle of beautiful-ness presents the perfect pressie.
