WHY YOU NEED THE NARS PURE RADIANT TINTED MOISTURISER.

Recently I’ve been talking a lot about how I’m preferring to use lighter products on my skin. While I once wore foundation every single day, pretty much without fail, I now like to give my skin the chance to breathe a little bit, and for that reason, amongst several others, I’ve been loving tinted moisturisers.

It was my mum who first got me into the tinted moisturiser thing. She’s always been an advocate for allowing your own, beautiful skin to glow through your makeup, rather than masking it. So, when she told me about her good experience with the Stila 10-In-1 HD Illuminating Beauty Balm, I couldn’t wait to jump on the hype & follow in her footsteps. The Stila balm has lasted me for ages and I’ve absolutely loved using it. However, as a blogger & someone who likes to try out new things & give other brands the chance to shine, I set out on a mission to find another tinted moisturiser that I could move onto next. 

To save myself some cash and to perform an accurate experiment, so to speak, I went into Selfridges in Exchange Square & visited a selection of different beauty counters. I managed to pick up a number of complimentary samples, including one from Bobbi Brown, which I was seriously excited to try. However, it was the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser that truly stole my heart - and a place in my makeup bag!

As some of you will know, I’ve been a huge fan of NARS products for ages now. I adore the cult classic Orgasm Blush, and I’m also crazy about their Liquid Laguna Bronzer and Hot Sand Illuminator. So, I suppose I always had somewhat high expectations for this product, but even still, the NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturiser really has completely blown me away. 

Offering everything I could ever wish for a tinted moisturiser - plus tons more - this product has a beautiful creamy formula that blends absolutely seamlessly, and upon application, the skin immediately glows with radiance & health. 

What really appeals to me about tinted moisturisers is that they offer a very light coverage, and act more as a skin perfector than a cover up - and that’s exactly how I would describe the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser.

This product smoothes onto the skin effortlessly and sets almost immediately. The coverage is buildable, although if you have problem skin or simply prefer a heavier coverage, then foundation would probably make for a wiser choice. With that said, I do believe that even those with problem skin and concerns about their complexion can switch to a tinted moisturiser. Technically, you can still cover up your blemishes with a concealer, and so the rest of your skin is free to breathe. 

The NARS Radiant Tinted Moisturiser is priced at £30 which, in comparison to high street brands, is a bit of a splurge. However, this product is extremely high in quality and you only need a small amount to achieve the most incredible results.
