COCOA BROWN: THE SILKIEST FAKE TAN I'VE EVER USED.

Fake tan is one of my biggest beauty essentials, and one of those things that I always have at least three bottles of stowed away. I love the confidence that fake tan gives me and it's a great alternative to sunbeds, which are really bad for your skin.

I've tried tons of tanning brands and products over the years, but right now my go-to, must-have tan has to be the amazing Cocoa Brown Dark Mousse. I'm actually using a mixture of the Dark and Extra Dark at the moment, but the Dark is my favourite out of the two for my skin tone.

I have to admit, I am a bit of a snob with my fake tan, and so I have been known to spend a heck of a lot of money on expensive brands in the past, but after discovering this from Cocoa Brown, all of that may just be about to change. Not only is this tan incredibly affordable, it's also up there with the very best I've ever used. I honestly couldn't believe how velvet-ty and smooth this mousse was, and the application was just seamless.

This fabulous tan develops in just one hour, and the natural-coloured tint to the mousse allows you to see exactly where the tan is going, preventing any streaks or white patches. In the past, I've found the indicator layer of some fake tans to be really unnatural and a little over the top, but this one is really subtle and more of a golden colour than a rich mahogany, so you don't have to worry about washing it off before you head out.

I've got a great big stash of tanning mitts hidden away at home, but I'm loving applying this tan with the Cocoa Brown tanning glove. Until now, I've never yet found a tanning mitt that I can honestly say I'm impressed with (including from high-end brands), but this one is a real game changer. As well as arriving in a beautiful, hot pink shade which I just can't get enough of, the Cocoa Brown tanning glove is made from the softest material, and it just helps the tan to glide seamlessly onto the skin. When I used this for the first time at weekend, Marc genuinely shouted 'what's going on in there?' because I couldn't stop saying 'oooh!' and 'this is amazing' as I was applying - I've just never used anything that compares to this before!

Cocoa Brown is one of those brands that's pretty much thought of every single thing when it comes to tanning - they've got the game-changing glove, the velvet-ty, gorgeous, golden mousse, and guess what? They've even got glistening body and face oils to optimise your tan and leave you looking even more gorgeous!

The Cocoa Brown 'Goddess' oil currently comes in three shades - Golden Goddess, Rose Gold Goddess and Ice Goddess, and having used all three, I can honestly say that they're all amazing.

These oils can be applied pretty much anywhere on the face or the body, and really do help to achieve that enviable sun-kissed glow. Personally, I like to use the Golden and Rose Gold Goddess on my body for a light-reflecting, tan-coloured glow, and then I like to use the Ice Goddess as a liquid highlighter on my face. I find that the Ice Goddess works amazingly on the cheekbones and on the tip of the nose for a highly-pigmented, shimmery glow - so beautiful.
