There's just no other brand that compliments my skin quite as well as Kiehl's. In fact, I'm yet to find one of their products that hasn't worked amazingly on my skin - literally everything I try completely superceeds my expectations, and whilst my bank account isn't exactly thankful for my Kiehl's obsession, my skin certainly is!
What I really love about Kiehl's is that I always come away with a few samples every time I buy. Whether I order onlinr or buy directly in store, the staff always offer me samples to try, and so I'm constantly discovering new products, which is great for me.
On one of my most recent visits to Kiehl's, I was given one of my most amazing and impressive samples yet - the Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Mask. This sample arrived in the cutest little pot, and I was genuinely so impressed by how much product was actually in there!
And the beauty of the sample continued to delight me.
Bright yellow in colour and packed with lots of little cranberry seeds, this mask has a really thick texture, which I love with masks, as it just makes them so much easier to apply. It also has a really unique smell to it - subtle and inoffensive, but really interesting. When I first applied the mask, I went and sat downstairs with Max watching TV, and he kept trying to lick my face! He must have thought it smelled tasty!
I've now used this mask several times and I usually leave it on for about 20 minutes. To be honest, 10 minutes is probably plenty, but I'm really bad with masks, and as soon as I apply them, I always get distracted and start doing other things. Before I know it, it's been an hour and the mask is literally flaking off my face (lovely little image for you there...)
The great thing about this mask, though, is that it doesn't feel harsh or drying at all. Naturally, the mask does dry on your face, but unlike other masks I've used before, my skin doesn't feel dehydrated or stripped after I've used it. Instead, it feels soft, supple and smooth - it honestly feels like a mini facial.
I can't believe that it's taken me so long to try this product, but now I have, I will certainly continue to repurchase. I've still got one full-sized pot ready to dive into, as the sample has lasted so well, but I already know that I will buy this mask again and again.
If you're looking for a new face mask, then I highly recommend this one. It's the perfect product to give your skin a real lift.
