SHRUTI DESIGNS: MY GO-TO BRAND FOR CLUTCH BAGS & PURSES.

Handbags and cute accessories can take pretty much any outfit from 0 to 100, which is why I spend so much time selecting my accessories and deciding which clutch or handbag to team with which outfit. Long gone are the days where one handbag was plenty. Now – thank the lord -  we live in a world where a different handbag for every occasion isn’t just encouraged, it’s applauded.

The amount of money we women spend on handbags, clutches and accessories each year is pretty phenomenal. We’ve become accustomed to treating ourselves to luxury items (look boys, we’re worth it, okay?) However, it’s important to note that there are some incredible budget buys out there, too. In fact, my most recent clutch bag and purse obsession comes from a small brand called ‘Shruti.’

I first fell in love with Shruti Designs on a visit to my favourite interior and décor shop in Uppermill, Ella and Coco. I was browsing through all the lovely little bits and bobs when I stumbled upon the most beautiful, brightly-coloured clutch with the word ‘Fabulous’ etched onto either side in a gorgeous gold, italicised font. It was so me, I simply had to have it.

Since then, I’ve been on a mission to extend my collection of Shruti designs – and I’ve done pretty much exactly that!

I now own three clutch bags and one cute little purse – and I’m genuinely in love with each and every one. They’re just gorgeous.

Priced at less than £15 per bag, these beautiful clutches come in a whole range of different colours (one for every occasion) and they can be used in a number of different ways. Personally, I like to use my Shruti clutch bags when I go on date nights with Marc, for cocktails with the girls or for nice family meals. However, these bags are also great for cosmetics, too! Stow away all your favourite lipsticks and liners in your Shruti bag, and feel glamorous from the moment you slide open that pretty gold zipper. Ahhh.

My most recent purchase was this beautiful little purse. I love this purse. It’s just so glamorous and I love the whole ‘Filthy rich’ thing! This purse would be a great gift for one of your best girlfriends, or, if you’re like me, a little treat for yourself – just because you’re fabulous.
