BANISH THOSE BLEMISHES: LA ROCHE POSAY EFFACLAR COLLECTION.

I don't know about you, but how I feel about my skin can completely change my mood. If I feel as though my skin is looking dull and tired, then I myself tend to feel dull and tired. On the other hand, when my skin looks bright and fresh, I feel bright and fresh! Having great skin and feeling confident in your own skin is so important, which is why it's essential to look after your skin well, and find products that suit your skin type.

I would describe my skin type as normal or combination. Most of the time, I have no problems with my skin, but at certain times during the month, I do tend to notice a slight decline in the clarity of my skin (don't you just love hormonal breakouts?)

I used to despair about my skin if I had a hormonal breakout to the point where I would literally cry. It sounds dramatic but I've always really looked after my skin, and I've never understood why, if you do all the right things and eat/drink all the right things, your skin reacts so horribly.

The thing is, hormonal breakouts happen, no matter how clean or healthy you are - they're unavoidable. This is obviously incredibly frustrating, however, there are things you can do to minimise breakouts and even prevent spots from surfacing.

When it comes to blemishes and preventing breakouts, there's one brand that I always go back to - La Roche Posay.

Just before that time of the month, I start cleansing twice a day with the Effaclar Foaming Cleansing Gel, and toning with the Effaclar toner.
