MY WINTER PRIMARK HAUL.

As my love of all things fashion, beauty and interiors has grown over time, I must admit, in some ways, I've become a little bit of a snob. I love the look and feel of buying luxury items as I find the whole experience so enjoyable. However, it'd be unrealistic to spend tons of money on everything all of the time, and there are some incredible bargains hiding away in the most seemingly unlikely of stores...

Now, as you have most likely gathered by the title of this post, I am of course talking about Primark. Primark is a store that, in the past, I have felt a genuine deep dislike for, which is why, until yesterday, it had been so long since I last stepped foot in there. But, now I work in town, and having heard a few great things about the Primark winter collection, I decided to 'pop my head in', assess the situation, and take it from there.

And oh my gosh, I am so glad I did.

To give you all a little bit of background here, the last time I went in Primark (previous to yesterday), I was virtually on the brink of a panic attack - and no, I'm not joking. I've suffered terribly with anxiety attacks in the past, and that feeling of being extremely hot, uncomfortable and genuinely very stressed has stayed with me for a long time. But yesterday, at approximately 4:45pm, I discovered a - and I can't believe I'm actually saying this - 'love' for Primark.

I know - pretty incredible stuff.

Although the store was still very busy, it wasn't uncomfortably cramped as I have found it to be in the past, and I was able to find what I wanted quite easily, so the whole experience started and ended very well indeed. I went in Primark with the intent of finding a hat, some gloves and scarf, and I managed to grab all three of those items, as well as as couple of home accessories, which I'm actually really pleased with!

And price wise, needless to say, I can't grumble whatsoever.

The Cocoa Brown Golden Goddess Oil was not purchased from Primark, but I just loved how it looks against the grey knitwear!

I bought a beautiful grey, cable-knit bobble hat with a pretty pink pom-pom at the top (£2) , a grey knitted scarf (£6) , and some lovely grey knitted gloves (£3). I also bought a lovely, soft, cream, faux fur throw which was reduced from £12 to £9, and finally, a cute little rose gold storage basket to store all my skin and body care products in.

As I said earlier, my not-so-great past experience with Primark left me with bitter aftertaste which has lingered for years. However, after my successful trip yesterday, I think I'm finally ready to give this shop another chance.

Whilst I'm not a huge fan of the actual clothes in Primark, I do think there are some amazingly affordable accessories available - perfect for getting all those seasonal must-haves on a budget.

So, if you're on the hunt for some cute little seasonal accessories for your home, or some chunky knitwear garments for the winter, get yourself down to Primark!

I really hope you enjoyed this blog post, and I can't wait to share more with you soon!

Wishing you all the most wonderful winter ever.

Lots of love,
Grace x
