Boots are, without a shadow of a doubt, my favourite type of footwear. Heeled or flat, ankle or knee high, black or tan, boots are just the most easy-to-wear and comfortable type of footwear ever, and I'm honestly so excited about digging out all my old faves - and adding to my collection.
So, naturally, I've already made a little start on things by buying two new pairs of boots - one pair from Kurt Geiger, and the other from Vince Camuto.
I absolutely adore both of these brands, as they create shoes that aren't just stylish, but of a very high quality, too. What's also great is that both of these brands have really great sales, so if you like picking up a good old mid-season bargain, you're almost sure to find something that takes your fancy from both of these makes.
Okay, so these boots only arrived with me last week, but I am already absolutely obsessed, so I simply had to share them with you as quickly as I possibly could. This first pair is from Kurt Geiger, and they're just as comfortable as they are pretty - so, very comfortable indeed. When I ordered these boots, I was a little apprehensive about the chrome style heel. I can be quite clumsy at time and the thought of scratching the pretty chrome effect did worry me a little. But, by this point I was already so in love with them, so I decided to buy them in spite of my reservations.
And I'm so glad I did! These boots have already got me so many compliments in the footwear department and I'm just obsessed with how they look. At the moment, I'm loving teaming them with skinny jeans and my checkered leggings. They just look so cool and the quirky heel just adds to how sassy they look. Needless to say, I am very happy with my purchase.
Next up we have these beautiful little boots from Vince Camuto. I've been on the hunt for a decent pair of tan ankle boots for ages, so when I stumbled upon this lovely pair, I simply had to have them. In the past, I've not really planned ahead very well when it comes to buying footwear, and after raiding my wardrobe before we moved into our house, I was kind of shocked by how many pairs of black boots I actually had - so much so that I had to have a proper clear out and make room for some other shades (I wear way too much black and this has to stop). Anyway, this gorgeous pair of tan boots are super comfy and they look especially gorge when worn with classic blue skinny jeans. Tan and blue is such a winning combo, right?
