FIRST IMPRESSIONS: ELEMIS TRI-ENZYME RESURFACING FACIAL WASH.

I genuinely can't believe I'm saying this, but happy new year, everyone! If you blinked for too long, you might just have missed 2017 altogether - the last 12 months have flown by so fast, but now, it's time to embrace the beginning of another fabulous year.

Besides continuing to work hard both in my job and with my blog, I don't really have any real resolutions going into this year. I want to spend as much time as possible in 2018 with my nearest and dearest, eat healthily (which I do most of the time anyway, really), drink lots of water and worry less, but in terms of physically changing something about myself, there's nothing in particular that I'm desperate to fix.

There are, however, a couple of 'little' resolutions that I want to fulfill in 2018 - mostly with my blog. Towards the end of last year, I decided that in 2018, I wanted to concentrate on broadening the number of brands featured on my blog. I want my blog content to be as interesting as possible for you lovely lot to read, and I am aware of the fact that my weakness for certain brands (Kiehl's and MAC to name just a couple) does sometimes mean that there isn't always quite as much fresh material as I would like there to be.

So, sticking to my resolution as I plan to continue doing so, in this blog post, I'd like to share with you my most recent skincare purchase - the Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash.

I've actually been really lax with my skincare regime recently, and I don't necessarily think that's a totally bad thing. However, when I got to the bottom of my facial wash and had to start rummaging around for near empties in my bathroom cupboard, I realised it was time to get online and try something new in time for 2018.

The Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash is one that I've been interested in trying for ages, but I was determined not to spend any more money on skincare until I desperately needed to. Anyway, that desperate time finally arrived, and my new face wash arrived in the post shortly after that.

So, what do I think? Is the Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash worth the hype, or is it just another fancy-sounding product without any real zest?

Well, the thing is, I've only been using this product for about 4/5 days, so at this point, I suppose it's difficult for me to make a full analysis of things. With that said, my first impressions are good. Really good, in fact.

As most of you now know, I started a new job about 7 weeks ago, and the company I work for retails an enormous range of fashion and beauty products. So, I actually picked the Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash at a discount price - which is never a bad thing - but having seen the results first hand and been genuinely very impressed with the product, I'd be more than happy to pay the full asking price if I ever needed to.

The texture of this facial wash is creamy, but it foams up great, too, giving the skin that really fresh and clean feeling that I love. Also, as this wash comes in a pump-action bottle, it's completely mess-free - another major plus for me! I don't mind squeezy tubes, but I do find that pump-action bottles are much easier to use and keep my bathroom much tidier.

As a premium brand skincare product, it goes without saying that there are much cheaper alternatives on the market, but I have to say, I can't really compare this facial wash with anything I've used previously. I tend to find creamy-textured washes don't suit my skin all that well, but this one is almost half cream, half gel, and it really does leave the skin feeling and looking beautiful. To finish off my routine, I apply rose water toner and some facial oil.

It's early days, but I'm loving this product, and I'm,really looking forward to trying more Elemis products in the near future.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Lots of love,
Grace x
