Rome is one of those places I've always wanted to go and visit, and I honestly can't wait to get there and enjoy everything the city has to offer.
When people think of Rome, they think amazing food, fine wine, spectacular architecture, and amazing sightseeing - and they're completely right! Since revealing the surprise a few nights ago, I've been a very busy bee reading up everything there is to know about Rome - restaurants, things to do, places to see - and it's helping me create a little itinerary of things I'd like to do whilst we are there.
So, for this blog post, I thought I'd share with you a few of the things I'm hoping to do and see on our Italian mini-break in Rome. I hope you enjoy!
1. Visit the iconic Rome Colosseum
2. Get a coffee at Tazza D'Oro
I love my coffee (especially latte's) and according to TripAdvisor, this cute little joint brews up some of the best coffee Rome has to offer. No doubt I'll be instagramming my large caramel latte as soon as I get my hands on it.

3. Grab a sweet bite at the Groste Gelateria Artigianale
The ice cream and sweet treats from this place look absolutely amazing! I know it's only January, but I might even have to get an ice cream - they do so many different flavours!

4. Visit the Roman Forum
These ancient government buildings are one of Rome's major tourist attractions, and I'm so looking forward to seeing all the archaic architecture in the flesh. #VeryInstagrammableIndeed

I discovered Etabli after searching for great wine and cocktail bars in Rome, and I have to say, the idea of sitting in front of this gorgeous fire with an Aperol Spritz is making me far too excited!
