GETTING PERFECT SKIN WITH THE NO7 MICRODERMABRASION EXFOLIATOR.

My skincare regime is something that I take really seriously and that I never skip. Morning and night, I have a very strict routine that I follow religiously in order to keep my complexion bright, clear and bursting with radiance. Being able to cover up our skin on those tired and dull looking days is a great luxury to have, but by taking great care of your skin, there's less need to rely on makeup so heavily.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again - to me, skincare is more important than makeup. Don't get me wrong, I couldn't be without my makeup bag, but how my skin looks before any of the foundation and concealer is just so important to me. Having a clear, smooth and youthful-looking base is something that you simply can't beat.

But be under no false allusions, attaining complexion perfection requires a lot of water, a great diet and of course, a lot of TLC.

As I said earlier, my skincare routine is a twice daily commitment. I cleanse, tone and moisturise morning and night, but I also give my skin a deeper clean 2-3 times a week, too. And for this, there's one product that I simply can't live without.

The Microdermabrasion Scrub from No7 is a product that I've used on and off probably for about 18 months now. My mum was the one who introduced me to this product, and her skin is just amazing, so I decided to invest. Since then, I've never looked back, and whilst I have experimented with other similar products, nothing quite compares to this.

This product is an absolute steal at just £11, and if you're a frequent shopper at Boots, you'll find that you can often get a discount across the No7 range, too, which is amazing! In my opinion, it's worth way more than £11, and if I had to, I would happily pay more. The way that my skin feels after using this product is just indescribable. There's no other scrub that makes my skin so smooth and clear. It's amazing.

In terms of application, there are no complications or quirks. I find that a pea-sized blob is enough to cover the whole of my face, and in order to give my skin that enviable glow, I massage into my face in circular motions. The exfoliating grains in this scrub are really fine, but they work so well, so much so in fact, that the exfoliation itself is almost completely effortless.I can feel this product getting to work straight away, and there's no need to apply any pressure or 'over-scrub'. If you're heavy-handed with this, you'll probably find that your skin is a little red and raw-looking afterwards, and whilst I'm sure your face would be fine, it's just unnecessary.

With all of this said, I do have one top tip on how to make the most out of this product and optimise the results that you get. Sticking to the 'circular motions' method of applying I mentioned before, once you've massaged every area of your face and the top of your neck, rather than rinsing straight away, leave the product on the surface of your skin for 2-3 minutes. By doing this, you're allowing the product to penetrate deeply into the skin, dissolving any bacteria and sloughing away dead skin cells and grime more effectively. The end result? Baby soft skin.

And let's have it right, baby soft skin is something that we all want!

Once I've rinsed away the scrub, I apply my toner and moisturiser as normal. If you use an acidic toner, you may find that this stings a little more than it would normally - but nothing major - and when you moisturise, the oil or cream will just sink into your skin seamlessly. I'm a huge fan of face oils, and I find that the texture of my skin once I've applied my oil is just insane.

I really hope you enjoyed this post and that you're all having a lovely week so far!

Lots of love,
