I am of course talking about the sought-after Cult Gaia Bamboo Arked Clutches. Loved by bloggers and celebrities alike, Cult Gaia bamboo bags have featured in just about every fashion magazine going this season, and the pricey trend seems to be going nowhere fast.
And I have to admit, I am really, really loving these bags. While they're actually available in a range of different materials, the bamboo style has become especially popular this season. These bags are super lightweight and they're just every inch that cool, hot summer's day, holiday vibe that we're all going for right now. The Cult Gaia bags compliment a range of different summer looks, so you'll most definitely get your use out of it. However, given that these bags are very seasonal, it may be worth looking at a cheaper alternative.

If you're happy to blow your cash on the real deal and you've got the money do to it, I salute you. With that said, if you don't have the funds to rock an original, you'll be pleased to hear that there are some fantastic dupes available right now at a fraction of the cost you'd pay otherwise.
For me, though, there's one dupe in particular that's a complete must-have. It's from Pretty Little Thing, it's £35 and unless you were giving it a close inspection, you'd struggle to set it apart from the real thing.
You can get your Tan Large Wooden Structured Bag from Pretty Little Thing here.
To put things into perspective price-wise, an original Cult Gaia Bamboo Bag, size 'large' will set you back exactly £127.79. As designer handbags go, that's actually not a bad price, but as I said before, considering these are very much a seasonal trend, it's still a serious splurge. With the Pretty Little Thing dupe, on the other hand, you're spending £35. That's almost £100 less. £100 to spend on a bunch of other things you want to fill your wardrobe with this season. £100 that otherwise, would likely be sat in your bag for at least 8 months each year.
For me personally, this is a complete no-brainer. I absolutely adore luxury fashion and I think there's nothing quite as satisfying as treating yourself to a brand new designer handbag with your own money, but with affordable alternatives like this available, that look this darn good, the idea of spending over £100 more just isn't necessary.
I really hope you enjoyed this blog post & I can't wait to fill you in on more beauty, fashion and lifestyle gossip very soon.
Until next time, beauts.
Lots of love,
Grace x
