Gel polishes are shiny, chip resistant for 14 days or more & available in a whole range of amazing colours, textures and just about everything else you could ever wish for. But with so many brand names to choose from, shopping for gels can be a very tricky task indeed...
You’ll likely yourself Google asking ‘what is the best gel polish?’ or searching ‘best gel polish brands?’ - I’ve done it all before! And in the past, despite my research, I’ve made some pretty poor decisions (note to self: never order gel polish from unknown retails ever again). But now, I’ve finally discovered a brand I’ll stay loyal to, and in this post, I’m going to explain exactly why Candy Coat is the best gel polish brand out there, and why you should give it a try.
Okay, so prior to my order arriving in the post yesterday, I had never tried Candy Coat polishes before. I’d simply been following their Instagram page for a couple of months and finally, after witnessing the brand share yet another amazing nail selfie, decided to give into temptation and make an order.
Before investing in a new brand - particularly if it’s one that hasn’t been recommended to me directly - I like to do my fair share of research. So, by the time I pressed that all-important ‘confirm order’ button, I had already read plenty of reviews on the Candy Coat website & read a whole ton of information about the brand. So, I knew that what I was buying was high in quality, reputable & much to my delight, entirely cruelty free and vegan.
For those wondering at this point, im actually not vegan myself, but I am very interested in vegan beauty products and I think it’s great that a growing number of brands are now accommodating the vegan community. To me, this is such a huge development & something that genuinely really excites me.
And I guess that’s one of the (many) reasons why, as a brand, Candy Coat stood out to me so much. That and the fact that the website is fabulous, the choice of colours is off the scale & their Instagram is all kinds of beautiful just pulled me right in. I couldn’t resist!
And you know what? I’m so glad that I didn’t resist. In fact, I’m so happy with my purchase that I’m already in the middle of adding a ton of other colours to my basket. What can I say? I just can’t stay away from that bubble gum pink website.
So, what is it that I’m enjoying so much about my Candy Coat Gel polishes? And why is it that I’m so impressed with the brand?
Well, first and foremost, these gels are, without question, the highest quality I have ever used - and that’s including some of the much more famous brand names. The depth and pfmenetation of the colours puts everything else I’ve used to shame and the ultra glossy finish is unrivalled, too.
After reading great things about the shades 042 (a neon hot pink) and 300 (Candy Coat’s best-seller and the acclaimed ‘best red ever’) these are the shades I chose to buy, along with the Super Shiny No Wipe Top Coat. And whilst I’m yet to try shade 300 as I’m currently rocking 042 - which is BEAUTIFUL, by the way - I am just in love with all three products.
Admittedly, I was a little anxious about trying the ‘no wipe’ top coat, but after reading a number of rave reviews from other doubtful buyers, I chose to invest, anyway. And true to its claims, this stuff really doesn’t need any wiping and again, really does create the most increase high gloss finish. It’s amazing!
I am completely blown away by my entire Candy Coat experience and having received countless compliments on my nails today, have already recommended the brand to three of my work colleagues. All of whom can’t wait to make their first order.
I’m so excited to try more from Candy Coat, and if you couldn’t already tell, there really aren’t enough flattering words in the dictionary for me to describe this wonderful brand. It’s just fabulous!
