LIFE UPDATE: I'M MARRIED!

If you follow me on Instagram, then the chances are that the following piece of information isn’t news to you, buuuut, for those that don’t, I have a pretty major life update to share with you all... I’m married!

My fiancé Marc and I tied the knot at our dream venue, The Saddleworth Hotel on Friday 31st May, and it was the most perfect day ever.

There are so many expectations and anticipations when it comes to wedding days, and the fact that there is so much hype around the fact that this is “the biggest day of your life” doesn’t make things easy. In fact, during the two weeks prior to our wedding day, I was incredibly anxious. At this point, i had thought up and overanalysed every single thing that could possibly go wrong.

Fortunately, aside from the fact that a couple of name places were wrong, there were absolutely no issues at all and the day went even better than I had ever imagined. Both Marc and I agreed that it was the best day, and although we’ve now been married almost a month already, we are both definitely still on a high.

Just a few days after Marc & I tied the knot, we jetted off on our dream multi-destination USA honeymoon, and just like our wedding day, it was beyond anything we had ever imagined and more.

The first stop on our trip was San Francisco, followed by Pismo Beach, Santa Monica, Palm Springs, Los Angeles and then finally, the place where he popped the question over 2 1/2 years ago, VEGAS!

I am going to do a series of different posts regarding the wedding and the honeymoon, including tips on how to choose the perfect wedding dress, why you should consider doing your own wedding makeup, how to save up for your wedding and more - so that’s all still to come, which is exciting! But for now, I just wanted to come back and finally share my news with you all.

As you can imagine, I have had such a hectic 3 months what with all the wedding planning, the actual wedding and of course, our amazing honeymoon, but my schedule is now a lot more free than it was, so you can expect lots of beauty, fashion and lifestyle-focused posts coming your way very soon.
