L'OREAL PURE CLAY BRIGHT MASK REVIEW.

A world-famous beauty giant famous for its countless collection of affordable makeup, hair care and skincare products, L’Oreal has gone on to amass an entire legion of loyal followers - including me.

I’ve always been a particularly big fan of L’Oreal hair care products, but after recently purchasing the L’Oreal Pure Clay Bright Mask and loving it, I’m now more eager than ever to sample more L’Oreal skincare products.

Prior to my purchase, I’d heard lots of great things about the L’Oreal Pure Clay masks, but it wasn’t until I actually tried one for myself that I truly understood exactly how brilliant these masks are.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with this line of L’Oreal products, there are four different masks available to choose from - each tailored to suit a different skin type or skin complaint. So, whether you’ve got dry, dehydrated skin or you suffer with oily, acne prone skin, there’s a L’Oreal face mask that’s perfect for you.

As someone who has fairly normal/combination skin, I sometimes find it hard to pin down skincare products, as I don’t want to use anything too harsh, but equally, I still want to get that satisfying feeling that the product has actually ‘done’ something. For this reason, I tend to focus my attention on formulas that promise to brighten and revive the skin.

And lucky for me, one of these masks has been expertly developed to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.

The L’Oreal Pure Clay Bright Mask owes its bright yellow formula to the addition of Yuzu Lemon Extract (which is known to even out skin tone), and also features natural exfoliating grains - perfect for removing any dead skin cells lurking on the surface of the complexion.

One of the many things I love about this mask is the rich, creamy texture. It’s super thick, which makes it really easy to apply, and as soon as the exfoliators come into contact with the skin, you can just feel everything getting to work straight away.

In terms of scent, I would describe this mask as rather fresh smelling, which, again, really appeals to me. In my experience, Citrusy ingredients in skincare products always seem to work well, and the L’Oreal Pure Clay Bright Mask is absolutely no exception.

For best results, I cleanse before applying this mask and then allow approximately 10 minutes for the clay to get to work (although you can remove after around 5 if you prefer.) During this time, my skin experiences a slight tingling sensation and I can feel the mask gradually drying and tightening up a little - which I like, because to me, that tells me it’s ‘doing something!’

Once the 10 minutes is up, I take my face cloth and remove the mask using warm water, and at this point, I am left with a fresh, glowing and - true to its name - bright complexion. My skin feels soft & smooth and any signs of tiredness and fatigue are banished completely. Perfection.

This mask really reminds me of a product I used to buy from a luxury skincare brand, and even though this one comes in at a fraction of the cost (approximately £6) I’d say it definitely rivals the pricier alternative.

I honestly can’t believe how good this product is - it’s just amazing, and I’d recommend it to anyone that wants to give their skin a glow-up.

I really hope you enjoyed this review & I can’t wait to share more with you soon.

Lots of love,
Grace x
