GEMMA COLLINS PODCAST REVIEW: WHY YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THE GEMMA COLLINS PODCAST.

It’s absolutely no secret at all that I’m a fan of the GC. I absolutely love her, and you know what? I’d happily scream and shout it from the roof tops if I had to. Gemma Collins is a such a big personality and whilst some find her a little overbearing, others - me especially - can’t get enough of her. So, when I found out that the GC was bringing out her very own podcast, needless to say, I was more than a bit excited.

The Gemma Collins podcast is 100% my latest addiction - along with her newest show on ITV Be, ‘Gemma Collins - Diva Forever’ - and in this blog post, I’m going to share exactly why Gemma’s weekly ramblings are giving me so much life (and laughter).

I love a good podcast, but to keep my attention and to make me want to come back, the chat has got to be seriously entertaining. I’ll happily admit that I get bored easily, so when I say that Gemma’s podcast is definitely worth a listen, you can sure as hell take my word for it.

So, without any further ado, let’s talk all things GC and allow me to explain why Gem’s podcast is the best EVER...

1.It’s hilarious

Queen of memes and reality TV, Gemma Collins, has become renowned for her comical one liners and quick wit, and her new podcast is testament to why she’s such a huge success.
She’s actually really sweet - one of the biggest misconceptions about Gemma - in my opinion - is that she’s too big for her boots and difficult to deal with. The truth is though, beneath all the glitz, glamour and let’s face it, MAJORLY envy-inducing designer shoes robe, she’s actually a sweetheart. She adores her family - particularly her nephews, who she completely dotes on - she loves the simple pleasures in life and her values are genuine.

2. Her talks about nature are everything

When Gemma Collins tells you to get out there and hug a tree, at first you howl laughing, and then you think “you know what, I might actually do that.” One of my favourite things about Gemma’s podcast is her open love of nature - namely her passion for tree hugging and walking barefoot on grass. Everything she says is complete comedy, but I love the fact jay she genuinely means every word - it’s fantastic.

3. She’s very intelligent

People who look at Gemma Collins and think ‘reality TV star whose been lucky enough to do alright for herself’ honestly have no idea whatsoever. Make no mistake, Gemma has 100% taken everything she could from her TOWIE fame, but the fact that she’s gone on to build a plus size clothing empire (Gemma Collins Collection) , launch a music career (albeit a little bit comedic) and star in two of her very own - very successful - TV shows, is proof of just how clever she is. Gemma is reality TV gold, and her one-in-a-million personality has earned her a wealth of friends in very high places, and a wow-worthy salary. Did you know that Gemma earns three times more than the UK prime minister? I’ll leave this one right here.

4. She’s upbeat, and enough to brighten up any dull day

Gemma’s podcast is released every Wednesday morning, and it never fails to brighten up my day. She’s just so fun and her podcast is so easy to listen to - and you know what? When it gets to that mid-week point when you’re itching for the weekend but you’ve still got a decent way to go, you need a pick-me-up. The Gemma Collins podcast, for me, is that pick me up. And as it’s now number one in the podcast charts, I imagine it serves the same for many others, too.

5. She's not afraid to make fun of herself

Being so firmly attached to the word 'diva', Gemma is often perceived as a bit of a nightmare, and someone who thinks a little too highly of herself - but trust me, she is so far away from that, it's untrue. I love the way Gemma isn't afraid to send herself up and admit her faults. She's more than happy to admit that she's had her fair share of fake tan disasters, and she's also open about the fact that 'The GC' is very much a persona that, and again, she isn't afraid to say it, makes her plenty of money.

The truth is, much like the rest of us, Gemma isn’t for everyone, but you know what? She’s definitely for me, and her podcast, somehow, is even better than I expected it to be. So, if you want something fun and lighthearted that’s going to give you more than a couple of laugh-out-loud moments on that dull train commute to work, then you absolutely MUST subscribe to the Gemma Collins podcast.
