I’ve pulled together the 8 best hotels in Manchester & Cheshire that are sure to give you the very best experience of this vibrant city. These Manchester hotels have been hand-picked because of their luxury interiors, locations, views & amenities. So, without any further ado...

1. King Street Townhouse - Manchester City Centre

Nestled right in the heart of the city centre, the King Street Townhouse Hotel is quite simply the epitome of luxury. Housed inside this lavish, Italian renaissance building, you’ll find a host of chic and contemporary bedrooms, as well as a sleek, rooftop infinity pool and swanky outdoor seating area - both of which boast the most incredible, panoramic views of Manchester. This place is completely fabulous.

2. The Mere Golf Resort & Spa - Knutsford

A personal favourite of both mine, my husband Marc & my parents, The Mere Golf Resort & Spa is quite literally one of my favourite places on earth - and I’ve been lucky enough to visit some pretty spectacular places! Situated in the picturesque Cheshire countryside, The Mere is without question one of the best spa hotels in the North West. Whilst staying at The Mere, all guests are granted full access to the luxury spa facilities (two steam rooms, one sauna, jacuzzi, pool and lots more.) You’ll also benefit from two gorgeous restaurants - Browns and The Club Lounge, which overlooks the beautiful lake, a sumptuous bedroom suite, and, for all the keen golfers, an award-winning golf course! What’s more, The Mere is just a short five-minute drive from Knutsford town centre - a beautiful little town scattered with cute bars, restaurants and boutique shops. What more could you possibly want?!

The Lowry - Manchester City Centre
A true celebrity haunt, The Lowry Hotel, which is located in Salford - not too far from upscale Spinningfields - has housed many a famous face over the years. From Pharrell Williams and Louis Tomlinson to Rita Ora and the entire Manchester United squad, this high-end hotel is definitely the place to stay if you love a touch of celeb spotting!

Guests at The Lowry Hotel can look forward to impeccably-decorated bedrooms, a lavish, upscale interior throughout, high quality food and unrivalled service. Another great thing about this fabulous hotel is that it’s just a stones throw away from some of the best bars & restaurants Manchester City Centre has to offer.

3. Great John Street Hotel - Manchester City Centre
If you’ve got a soft spot for boujee, boutique hotels, then the Great John Street Hotel is 100% the one for you.

Located just off busy Deansgate, this extravagant hotel is situated within a former Victorian schoolhouse, and you know what? It’s simply breathtaking.

An indulgent retreat that’s perfect for any special occasion, the Great John Street Hotel is home to a collection of luxurious bedroom suites (the majority of which are duplex), as well as a gorgeous rooftop lounge, library and exclusive oyster bar. Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous.

4. Mottram Hall - Macclesfield
If you’re a fan of The Real Housewives Of Cheshire & the image of these luscious green lawns and grand entrance looks familiar to you, then that’s because Macclesfield’s Mottram Hall has been featured on the ITV Be Reality show several times. And with its sensational spa facilities, beautiful rooms and stunning grounds, it’s no wonder why this luxury spa hotel is such a popular choice with the rich and famous.

The perfect place to retreat to when life gets a little hectic, Mottram Hall is less than a 40 minute drive from lively Manchester City Centre, and it’s just wonderful.

5. Radisson Blu Edwardian - Manchester City Centre

Chic, glamorous and in a central city location, the Radisson Blu Edwardian is a truly beautiful hotel with so much to offer.

On the outside, this hotel is grand, historic and Eye-catching. And when you step inside, the Radisson only continues to impress.

Complete with an impeccably chic & contemporary entrance and lobby, the Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester is stunning throughout - and the beautiful bedrooms & suites are guaranteed to impress.

Guests at the Radisson will benefit from a plush bedroom with en-suite and, depending on which floor you are staying on, the most incredible views of Manchester City centre.

Marc and I stayed here a couple of years back whilst celebrating his birthday & attending a Liam Gallagher gig at the MEN, and the hotel even treated us to some chocolates and a lovely little birthday message when we entered the room, which was a really lovely touch.

6. Dakota Manchester - Manchester City Centre

A very exciting newbie on the luxury Manchester hotels scene, Dakota Manchester is situated right in the heart of the city’s quirky Northern Quarter, and it’s just fabulous.

This stunning new hotel is an absolute showstopper, and each & every aspect of the stunning interior has been very, very carefully thought-out.

The colour scheme within Dakota Manchester is very neutral and classy, making for a finish that’s completely timeless. Think tan leather seats, lots of greys, browns and neutral, fluffy cushions & accessories. This hotel is just so chic, and there’s a real air of luxury about the place. It’s gorgeous.

7. Hotel Gotham - Manchester City Centre

Nestled right in the heart of the city centre, Hotel Gotham resides inside one of the most striking and beautiful buildings King Street, Manchester has to offer. And that initial wow-factor continues to prevail as you step inside and explore.

Lavish and luxurious in every sense, what makes this hotel really stand out is the bold and dramatic interior. There’s a strong black and white theme throughout the entirety of the hotel, with punchy flashes of colour that really bring everything to life.

The plush bedrooms and suites are kitted out to the max with the likes of freestanding nickel boat baths, vibrantly-coloured velvet chairs and sumptuous faux fur throws (plus the rest!) meanwhile the stunning rooftop bar and dining area signifies the epitome of luxury living in Manchester.
