BEST BABY BOY BEDROOM IDEAS: 6 BABY BOY NURSERY THEMES YOU'LL LOVE.

For those of you that don’t already know (although I do feel as though I’ve been screaming it from the rooftops since we found out!), Marc and I are expecting our very own bundle of joy on August 2nd - and it’s a boy!

I was completely 50/50 before our 20 week scan as to what we would be having, but in the moments before the midwife told us, I just had this overwhelming sense that we would be having a boy. And you know what? Despite being a super girly girl that loves girly girl things (spa days, makeup and all things pretty are my calling), I couldn’t be more excited to be welcoming a beautiful little boy into the world.

Yep, despite the oddities and uncertainty surrounding, well, pretty much everything right now, our growing baby is ensuring that this is a very exciting time for us, and as we prepare for his arrival, we now have the fun of shopping for all things baby boy.

And one thing I am particularly enjoying right now is deciding on a baby boy nursery theme.

I’ve always dreamed about what it would be like to plan a baby nursery and to shop for all the wonderfully adorable baby room accessories that I’ve seen on Pinterest and Instagram - and now I’m actually getting to do it, which is completely magical.

Anyway, now I’ve had my excited little ramble, It’s time to get on with the blog post, and for this installment, I’m going to be sharing my some of my favourite baby boy nursery ideas. So, if like me you’re expecting a baby boy and you’re in need of baby boy bedroom inspiration, then fingers crossed, this post will do the trick! I hope you enjoy!

Best Baby Boy Nursery Ideas

1. Nautical baby boy room

I am absolutely besotted with all the gorgeous nautical baby boy nursery ideas on Pinterest, and this theme in particular is one that I’m very, very tempted by at the moment. There are just so many charming accessories and stunning wall art pieces available that I just know would look so cute in our baby nursery. Still, this is such a huge decision to make and one that Marc and I aren’t rushing, so we haven’t fully decided yet!

2. Safari baby boy room

Okay, so a safari themed baby room was what I always imagined our baby would have - and I really do love this idea! But now that we’ve explored other options, I’ve confused myself and I’m not too sure. We’ve already got some gorgeous safari prints that would look lovely should we finally decide on this theme, but like I say, we are still torn between a number of different ideas.

3. Classic baby boy room

Ah, the classic baby boy nursery. Baby blue everything and soft touches of white and ivory to soften everything. Beautiful. I don’t think you can go far wrong with this theme to be honest, especially as the baby becomes older, as it will be so easy to make adjustments to the room and to switch up the home accessories a little.

4. Neutral baby boy room

There’s a lot to be said for opting for a completely neutral baby boy nursery, and there are just so many beautiful ideas available to scroll online. I particularly love the neutral baby nurseries that are dotted with cuddly teddy bears and all the gorgeous bits and pieces from The White Company. I honestly can’t wait to buy things from The Little White Company - everything is just completely beautiful.

These are a few of my favourite clothing pieces for baby boys from The White Company at the moment. I'm going to share a post dedicated solely to where to buy baby boy clothes very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

5. Aviation theme baby boy room

I’ve actually only just started contemplating this theme as there aren’t tons of examples of this idea online - but oh my gosh I’m obsessed! I’ve already found so many gorgeous little aeroplane ornaments and wall art pieces that could be used to style up the nursery, and I feel that this style of baby room could be a real contender for us.

6. Bumblebee baby boy room

And finally, this list just wouldn’t be complete without mentioning bumblebee baby boy nurseries. The bumblebee is significant to both me and Marc as we are both from Manchester, and bees symbolise the Manchester worker bees. It just so happens that bee themed baby rooms are exceptionally cute, so this style of baby room is doubly appealing to us. What do you think?
