I feel like my everyday skincare routine has been subject to so much change recently - but you know what? I’ve really loved switching things up. Typically, despite being a beauty blogger, I do tend to take the stance that if it isn’t broke, then don’t fix it - which basically means that whatever products work for me, I usually stick with religiously.
However, I recently made a pact with myself to try more skincare products and to give things a little switcheroo more frequently. And in doing so, I feel like I have learned so much more about my skin - as well as discovering some truly fabulous skincare products.
And the most recent addition to my collection is the CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion With SPF 25.
I love this CeraVe Face Cream |
CeraVe is an affordable skincare brand that works with dermatologists to develop the best skincare products for all skin types. And like all the other CeraVe skincare products I have tried, this little tube of goodness hasn’t let me down.
Although I love the CeraVe brand, it wasn’t solely the trust I have in CeraVe that pushed me to purchase this product. What really pulled me in with this face cream was the fact that it contains SPF 25 and it’s also completely non comedogenic.
For those wondering what does non comedongenic mean - it means that the product will not block your pores or cause breakouts. And whilst I don’t really suffer with acne or anything like that, I still find this feature incredibly appealing - especially when the product also contains SPF.
SPF in itself can actually be very heavy on the skin and has been known to cause spots. Which is just one of the many things that makes this particular moisturiser with SPF very special - it protects the skin from UV rays without interfering with the clarity of our skin.
My one reservation I suppose with this product was that the non comedogenic formula may result jn the formula itself being a bit too lightweight. In the past I have found that such products have been very fresh and easy to wear, but sadly not very nourishing.
The good news is that this cream is very very moisturising. In fact, I’d go as far to say that It’s one of the creamiest and most nourishing day creams I have ever used. And unlike many others I have tried, it sinks into the skin like magic - without leaving any greasy residue on the skin. Yay!
Quite possibly the best affordable day cream I have ever had the pleasure of using, this non comedonegenic facial moisturiser also benefits from an easy-to-use, no mess pump-action applicator. One of the things that confuses me most when applying face creams for combination skin is how much product to actually use. But thanks to the pump action style bottle, there’s zero confusion. Just one press of the pump and you’re good to go.
You can watch my full morning skincare routine now on my YouTube channel, so be sure to check that out & don't forget to subscribe - especially if you want to be the first to know about my upcoming giveaway. But in the meantime I hope you all really enjoyed this blog post and I can’t wait to share more with you all soon.
Lots of love,
Grace x
