THE SPA AT CARDEN PARK REVIEW.

Nothing relaxes me quite like a spa day, and as a busy toddler mummy, a luxury spa resort flush with fabulous facilities always sounds like a great idea. So, when the wonderful marketing team at Carden Park kindly invited me to visit their spa, I jumped at the opportunity and whisked my mum away with me, too.

First impressions are, as we all know, super important, and I have to say, The Spa at Carden really did wow me straight from the off. Surrounded by a sprawling verdant landscape and situated in its own, luxurious private grounds, the building itself is just as wow-worthy as its vistas. With a fabulous spiral staircase, living wall and chromatic touches here and there, the place is steeped in opulence and grandeur - even the changing rooms are fancy! - teasing a teeny glimpse of all we were yet to discover

I’ve been to quite a few spas in my time, so it takes a lot to really, really blow me away, but The Spa at Carden Park was one of those places that really did leave me a little bit speechless - it’s just beautiful.

As well as boasting a bevy of pristine spa facilities - a glistening indoor pool, bubbling jacuzzi, choice of steam rooms and saunas (with stunning views of the grounds, might I add) - this place also has the most incredible outdoor space, too.

Private wooden pods are dotted around the luscious, perfectly-manicured grounds, presenting the ideal spot to retreat to for a quiet coffee or Prosecco in your snuggly gown, meanwhile a sizeable, heated pool promises to keep you toasty on those fresher mornings. My mum and I loved the outdoor pool even more than the one inside - it just felt so incredible to properly enjoy the fresh air without feeling the harshness of the chill. The pool served up the ideal spot to soak up the sights, too. We were lucky enough to visit the spa on a sunny day, so we had the added bonus of a cloudless blue sky and warming rays beating down on us - but I imagine on those crisp, chilly autumn mornings, the warmth of the pool is even more satisfying!

For those that love to soak up the rays, there’s plenty of sun loungers outside, which really makes this Cheshire spa feel like a luxury holiday resort. I actually said ‘I feel like I’m abroad, here!’ And my mum said the exact same thing. So, if you aren’t jetting away any time soon but you want to enjoy a luxury staycation with all the perks of an overseas escape, Carden Park really is just the ticket.

Towards the end of our spa day, the temperature outside dropped a little, but thanks to our plush robes and the heat of the outdoor fire pits, we were kept suitably snug. Flute of fizz each in hand, we clinked glasses and toasted to a wonderfully relaxing and altogether glorious day.

To put it simply, there’s no two ways about it - both seasoned spa-goers and first-timers alike absolutely must visit Carden Park. So, whether you’re specifically looking for spas in Cheshire or you’re exploring your options when it comes to the best spas in the UK, The Spa at Carden deserves to be fast-tracked to the top of your list at once. Normally, I can pick out one or two minor shortfalls with spa resorts - even the most luxurious UK spas have some room for improvement - but honestly, I can’t think of a single thing I would change here. From the second-to-none facilities to the wonderful staff, stunning location and all-round luxurious look and feel, this place is pure perfection and I can’t wait to return later in the year.

I really hope you all enjoyed this blog post and I can't wait to share more with you all very soon!

Lots of love,

Grace x
