MY CLARINS LOTUS OIL REVIEW.

As skincare brands go, Clarins is definitely up there with the best. With different ranges and products available to suit every skin worry and complaint you could possibly imagine, Clarins caters to everybody, no matter what type of skin you may have.

I've actually used Clarins products for years, but I do like to swap and change between brands so that I can try different products, so if I'm honest, until last week, it had been quite a while since I'd purchased anything new from Clarins.

It wasn't until I was having a little browse online that I came across a Clarins product that I used to worship - the Clarins Lotus Oil.

I remember the first time I ever used the Clarins Lotus Oil, and I remember just being absolutely enamoured with each and every aspect of the product. And now, I'm rekindling the romance.

For some people, the idea of applying an oil to the face is quite scary. Those with oily and problematic skin in particular are probably grimacing at the thought as they're reading this, but honestly, if you can, please don't be too hasty to discount this product...

The Clarins Lotus Oil is actually designed especially for those with oily skin. I know, it sounds crazy, but this product, despite being an oil, is fortified with ingredients that slow down your skin's oil production levels, making your skin less oily, and resulting in fewer breakouts.

Yep, it's a pretty fabulous product indeed.

And it really does work! I wouldn't actually classify my skin as oily, but hormonal imbalances and having combination skin mean that the texture of my skin does change from time to time, so this product is a bit of a life saver. Not only does it smell absolutely amazing - that gorgeous spa-like, fresh, almost citrus scent that's just incredible - it works like an absolute dream.

I reintroduced the Clarins Lotus Oil back into my skincare regime less than 4 days ago, and already, the texture of my skin has improved loads. My skin looks clear, refined and smooth, and it feels incredible too.

When applying, you only need 3-4 drops to cover the entirety of your face, and unlike other face oils, the Clarins Lotus Oil absorbs into the skin very quickly. I hate when I use face oils before bedtime and I can feel my face almost sticking to the pillow - fortunately, there's none of that with this product. It sinks in quickly and leaves your skin feeling fresh, smooth and nourished.

With an RRP of £34, the price of this product may leave some people a little less inclined to buy. However, trust me when I say that this little bottle lasts for ages! As I said before, you only need a small amount of product to cover your whole face, which means that the bottle should last you for months. I'm the first to admit that I am really bad for over-applying, but even if I were to use 5-6 drops, it would still last me ages.

I really hope you all enjoyed this blog post! If you'd like to find out more about the Clarins Lotus Oil, or you'd like to buy a bottle, head over to the Offical Clarins Website now.

Until next time lovelies!

Lots of love,
Grace
