SAPHIRA: THE HAIR CARE BRAND YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT.

Like most other women out there, my hair is incredibly important to me. My hair is a huge part of how I look and how I feel, and in order for me to feel my best, it's essential that my hair is looking great.

I've always taken great care of my hair, and whilst I'll admit that I probably do wash it a little too frequently, I am often complimented on how shiny and healthy my hair looks. I take my hair care routine very seriously and there's not a day that goes by where I don't shampoo and condition my hair. Like I say, this might be a little excessive, but whatever I'm doing seems to be working for me, so I guess I may as well stick to it!

The thing is, my hair is really long, so it requires a lot of TLC to give it that enviable shine and bounce. I've tried tons of products in the past, from a whole spectrum of famous brands, but right now, the hair care brand that I honestly can't say enough amazing things about is Saphira. Saphira is, without question, the hair care brand that you seriously need to know more about. And lucky little you over there, reading this blog post, is about to get the full lowdown.

Okay, so I was lucky enough to be sent three full-sized Saphira products to try out. As a blogger, I'm very lucky in that I am able to try out products and review them. Some people think that the clause with this is that I have to say positive things about the products I'm trying, but that simply isn't true. The fact that I am totally loving Saphira products is nothing to do with the fact that I was sent the products to try. My views are always honest and true, so you can be completely sure that whatever I say about Saphira is what I genuinely, honestly think.

Okay, so little disclaimer done and dusted, now, it's onto the good stuff.

So first things first, this brand is relatively new, with the first 'women's only' line of products launching in 2011. I personally hadn't heard of the brand before, but after reading the press release, I was immediately excited to try everything out. Saphira is a family-owned haircare brand with a 'natural' approach to hair care. Saphira hair care products are made using 26 minerals from the Dead Sea, closest to the Earth's core. Saphira products have been created to nourish and repair all types of hair, restoring and conditioning the hair to leave it more fabulous than ever before.

And I have to say, the products really are incredible.

I've been using the Saphira shampoo, conditioner and mask for about 3 weeks now, and I really am just so impressed with the results. Not only do the Saphira products smell incredible - and the smell actually lasts, too - the look and feel of my hair really has improved. My hair feels silky and smooth, and it looks super shiny and thick. All in all, I am very, very happy with what I'm seeing!

The shampoo and conditioner bottles aren't huge, but in my opinion, there's no need for them to be any bigger. The pump-action style applicator on these products allows you to limit how much product you use easily. There's no risk of squeezing too much product out, or over-applying. I have very long hair, and I found that two pumps of shampoo, and two pumps of conditioner was plenty. The quality of these products means that you don't need to over-apply - a little goes a long way!

I have been using the Saphira Mineral Mud hair mask twice weekly - once on a Thursday night, and once on a Sunday night. The mask, just like the shampoo and conditioner, smells completely gorgeous, but it also feels great, too. The mask is very thick and tacky, which makes it stick to the hair really well. I often find that masks don't cling to my hair very well, and so I'm usually left a little disappointed, but the Saphira mask works great, leaving my hair vibrant and revitalised after each and every use. The tub recommends leaving the mask on for 4-5 minutes, but don't be afraid to leave it a little longer. I usually leave it on for about 10 minutes whilst I have a soak in the bath.

Pretty Packaging Alert!

Aside from working absolute wonders on my hair, another thing that I just love about the Saphira range is how the products look. For me, attention to detail when it comes to packaging is a huge thing, and you can just tell that a lot of thought has gone into how these products look. Everything is very luxurious and unlike lots of other hair care products on the market, I actually feel as though these products are pretty enough to display in my bathroom. Usually, I can't wait to stash everything back into the bathroom cabinet, but the Saphira products are just too beautiful to hide!
