THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO CHOOSING YOUR WEDDING SHOES.

With little more than 8 months until Marc and I officially tie the knot (eek!), I've realised that despite feeling super prepared and as though I've sorted everything, I'm actually not quite as ready with everything as I thought...

I mean, the core essentials are all sorted - you know, the venue, the dress, the registrar, the bridesmaids, photographer, flowers and so on - but there are still a few little bits and bobs that I haven't even had time to consider or think about. And one of the biggest things I'm still yet to decide on is what wedding shoes I'll wear.

Shopping for wedding shoes is something that I've always felt really excited about, and I'm sure all you other beautiful brides to be will completely agree. After all, shopping for shoes is always fun, and so shopping for those all-important wedding shoes is just a million times more exciting!

So, in this blog post, I've decided to share with you a compilation of my favourite wedding shoes, and the pretty heels that have made my 'Top 5.' And who knows? Maybe I'll give you a little bridal shoe-spiration, too!

Let's get to it...

1. Dune Bridal Collection Ceremony Wreath Brooch Slingback Court Shoes
Price: £130

Available to buy from both Dune London and John Lewis stores, these stunning slingbacks are pretty much the wedding shoes of my dreams. I love the Manolo Blahnik inspired style and the slingback design is just so practical.

Naturally, my dress is a complete secret until my wedding day, but I just know that these shoes would go with my dress perfectly.

Dune, I'm in love.

2. Dune Bridal Collection Memories Lace Stiletto Sandals
Price: £130

Another pair from Dune that I just can't get enough of, these gorgeous lace-style stiletto sandals are quite simply, beyond beautiful.

What I really love about these shoes is the lace fabric and the way the shoes tie at the back into cute bows. Complete with diamante detailing to the top, these stilettos are super glamorous, yet totally chic.

My one concern about these shoes would be that the high heel would perhaps cause me a little discomfort through the day. What do you lot think? Are they a little bit too high?

3. Charlotte Mills April Bridal Shoes
Price: £240

Effortlessly elegant and completely classy in every single way, the 'April' bridal shoes from Charlotte Mills - a gorgeous local boutique shoe shop - are simply dreamy.

If I were to describe my own style, it would be chic and classic, and I feel that these shoes in particular promise everything that I'm looking for.

These shoes are made from leather, which means they'll 'give a little' and feel extra comfortable on the day, and the gorgeous heart-shaped design to the back is so beautiful.

Charlotte Mills, you are everything.

4. Rachel Simspson Charlotte Ivory Bridal Shoes
Price: £139

Described by Rachel herself as shoes that are 'fit for a princess', the Charlotte Ivory Bridal Shoes were made for walking down the aisle in style.

Boasting beautiful embellishment detailing and made from ivory lace, these shoes also feature a stunning silver suede that sits beneath the lace, giving the shoes a mesmerising metallic look.

What I really love about these shoes is the way the bead detailing stretches across the front and sides of the shoe, all the way back to the heel, making them sparkle from every single angle.

Gorgeous.

5. L.K.Bennett Summer Ivory Sandals
Price: £295

The super luxurious Summer Ivory Sandals from L.K.Bennett were made for a summer, country garden wedding. With beautiful faux flower detailing to the centre-front of the peep toe, these shoes were 'inspired by the spring blossom of a scenic garden setting', and were hand crafted in Italy.

Yep, very fancy indeed - and at just £295, if you ask me, they're a steal.

One of the best things about these shoes is that they're so easy to wear and they're the type of shoe that you will slip on time and time again - perhaps even to somebody else's wedding! So, if like me you like knowing that you'll get plenty use out of a high-end investment, then these are the perfect choice.

Until next time, lovelies!

Lots of love,
Grace x
