5 REASONS WHY THE COACH CHELSEA BAG IS THE BEST DESIGNER HANDBAG EVER.

There’s no experience quite like that of buying a brand new designer handbag. From exploring all the amazing luxury brands to all the beautiful fabrics, textures and colours, the feeling of a premium quality bag really is entirely singular in its quality. So, when I ordered myself a Coach Chelsea Crossbody Bag in the Coach sale just before Christmas, you can only imagine how excited I was to receive it.

It wasn’t until a week later that my bag arrived because of all the bank holidays and everything, but needless to say, the wait really was totally worth it. 

What can I say? I’m completely in love with it - and there are so many reasons for this.

In fact, I could probably go on forever about all the wonderful things I adore about the Coach Chelsea bag, but rather than babble I’m about it forever (as much as I’d enjoy that) I thought that may become just a little bit of a tedious read for you lot. So, instead, i thought I’d pull together a list of five reasons instead - my five top reasons. 

Touching on everything from the style of the bag to the finer details & even the price, this list has been designed to show you gorgeous lot exactly why the Coach Chelsea bag is the best designer handbag ever.

So, without any further ado, let’s get to it...

1. It’s Affordable 

Well, as far as luxury handbags go, that is. 

I picked up my Coach Chelsea Bag in the sale so I paid just £120 for mine (I know, bargain!) but even when this bag isn’t in the sale, it still details at just £240 - which, for those of you that know your designer bags well, really is a great price! 

I absolutely love luxury products and bags in particular are definitely my thing, but I do think that some are just too expensive. For me, £350 is probably the most I would want to spend at this point in my life, but with this little beauty coating just £120, why would you ever need to pay more?!

Premium quality at a fabulous price point - perfect.

2. The Leather Is Gorgeous 

If like me, you love your handbags, you’ll know that some leathers are better quality than others. And take it from me, the leather on the Coach Chelsea is just beautiful. 

I really love the pebbled-effect leather on this bag. It’s just so chic & sophisticated and I find that it wipes down really well, too.

3. The Attention To Detail Is Wow-Worthy 

I think one of the things that really sets designer handbags aside from those bought on the high street at a lesser price is the close attention to detail. And this is something that Coach do so well. 

There’s so much detailed branding on this bag - from the ‘Coach New York’ writing on the zipper to the classic badge to the front, the detachable dog tag and the leather patch on the inside of the bag, it really is beautifully intricate. And this is something that - generally speaking - you just don’t get with cheaper, high street alternatives. 

4. The Size Of The Bag Is Perfect 

In the past, I’ve always been drawn to bigger handbags with more room to throw loads of stuff in - but the fact that this bag is a little smaller than what I’d normally choose actually really appeals to me. 

In fact, I’d be very tempted to say that the size of this bag is pretty much perfect. 

As most of you know, I’m hardly the most statuesque of women (I’m only 5’1”!) and the fact that this bag is a little smaller actually suits my frame quite well. This isn’t to say that smaller women can’t use a larger bag (and vice versa for taller women) but the fact that I’m not just loading tons of things into the bag is probably a good thing. 

As I mentioned previously, with bigger bags, I always feel tempted to stuff everything into them that I possibly can - but with this smaller piece, I just pack a few small essentials and that’s it. The result? Much less back pain and less time spent faffing around trying to find my lipstick. Winner, winner! 

5. The Colour Is So Chic 

Okay, so this bag is actually available in a whole host of pretty colours, but I have to say, I really do think I made such a good choice with the oxblood shade. 

This colour is super on-trend right now, and whilst it isn’t a nude or neutral tone, it’s actually really versatile. Most of the time, I team my bag with either a black biker jacket or a sand-coloured coat, but even with coloured garments it still looks great. 

If you couldn’t already tell, I’m utterly enamoured with this bag! I can’t fault it whatsoever and the value for money, in my opinion, is pretty phenomenal.
