WHAT IS THE BEST MAC LIPSTICK?

My passion for all things beauty has seen me sample so many wonderful brands over the years. However, whilst there are a number of different cosmetic brands that I rely on day-to-day, when it comes to lipsticks, there is one cosmetic giant I favour above any other - MAC.

I've been using MAC Cosmetics for years and I've pledged the high quality of their products to so many people (and in so many blog posts), but, seeing as it's been a little while since I shared a 'MAC only' post, so to speak, I thought I'd share something new.

Today I'm going to talk about my current everyday MAC lipstick and in my opinion, one of the best MAC lipsticks ever. I've tried and tested dozens of different shades in my time, but this one in particular is an all-time classic, and one that I always end up going back to.

So, what is the best MAC lipstick?

Of course, the answer to this question is entirely conceptual, but if you ask me, nothing quite compares to MAC Angel.

Angel falls under the MAC Frost Lipstick umbrella, and as pink lipstick shades go, this one really is completely unbeatable.

Depending on the type of colours that you usually go for, you may or may not be into this shade, but for me, nude lipsticks & pink lipsticks are the ultimate go-to. And MAC Angel sits somewhere nicely in between the two.

It isn't a super bright pink, but it isn't a muted nude, either. It's just a really nice mid-pink shade with a lovely little sheen to it.

And it's just absolutely gorgeous.

One of the things I really love about this pink lipstick is that it can be styled up or dressed down easily. I don't know about you, but I'm not the type to go wild with my makeup or experiment with any wacky colours. Instead, I prefer to keep things fairly classic and I like to don somewhat of a signature look.

I like the fact that people will expect me to be wearing a pink lipstick and a brown-nude liner. To me, that right there is my signature look, and I find that MAC Angel poses the perfect finishing touch to my glam.

In terms of lip liner and how I dress this lipstick, I almost always pair it with my trusty MAC Whirl liner. The combination of the soft, mid-pink tone with the browny-nude works so well and I love the way the darker liner helps create the illusion of a fuller, plumper-looking pout. The likes of MAC Mehr and MAC Velvet Teddy are up there with some of the most popular MAC lipstick shades, but I find that these colours are just a little bit too deep for me. So, if you, too, like to keep things a little lighter & fresher looking, I'd definitely encourage you to invest in MAC Angel.

MAC lipsticks can be bought from various different stores, but if you're looking for the highest quality of service, then I'd recommend a little trip to Selfridges.

I always find the customer service in Selfridges absolutely faultless and the ladies & gentlemen that work on the MAC Counter in both Exchange Square & The Trafford Centre are completely fabulous.
