MY TOP 8 PAMPER NIGHT ESSENTIALS.

While I do enjoy the occasional night out (and I really do mean it when I say ‘occasional’ - I’m a total sucker for cosy nights in!), for me, there’s nothing better than just popping my favourite pyjamas on and indulging in a good old pamper session.

What can I say? I really do value my ‘me time’ and as I’m always so busy with work, my blog and all the usual bits and bobs that need doing around the house, I feel I don’t get to spend as much time doing me as I’d like to. So, when the opportunity arises, I pull out all my beauty essentials and prepare for a full night of pampering. And to me, that’s just complete bliss.

It’s just so great to wipe away the makeup and have a real deep clean and I love applying a fresh coat of tan - nothing makes me feel more confident! To read more about fake tan, make sure you have a read of my posts 'How To Fake Tan Like A Professional' and 'How To Get The Perfect Natural-Looking Tan With Palmer's Coconut Oil Formula.'

So, in this blog post, I’m going to share with you my ultimate pamper night essentials, touching on everything from my favourite face and hair masks, to my must-have tanning products, face oils and more.  I hope you enjoy!

A few of my favourite pamper night essentials right now

1. A Great Face Mask

A fabulous face mask is a crucial component in every woman's skincare collection, and my oh my have I done my research when it comes to finding the best face masks.

I would describe my skin as normal to combination, so I don't have a massive amount of skincare complaints to grumble about - but I genuinely believe that a lot of that comes down to how well I take care of my skin. And frequently applying a good face mask plays a huge role in that routine.

So, what is the best face mask? It's a question we all want the answer to, but truthfully, there really isn't one straight forward answer to this question. My best advice when it comes to face masks would be to have not one, but three - one mud mask, one moisture mask/hydrating mask and one overnight face mask. Mud masks are great for drawing out impurities and extracting any dirt and grime, meanwhile moisture masks and overnight treatment masks are great for restoring the skin & keeping it looking fresh and youthful.

My favourite face mask right now is the L'Oreal Pure Clay Bright Mask. What I really love about this L'Oreal face mask is that it doubles up as an exfoliant, too. When rinsing away the mask, I always make a conscious effort to massage the exfoliating grains into my skin, and it really does make such a huge difference.

The L'Oreal Pure Clay Bright Mask is so affordable and just completely amazing - I absolutely love it!

When it comes to moisture masks, the Clarins SOS Hydra Face Mask is a firm favourite of mine, and I'm really keen to try the Summer Fridays R&R Mask (although at £46, this is quite a pricey one!)

And finally, an overnight treatment mask is essential. I have just discovered the wonders of the super-affordable Nivea Q10 Power Sleeping Mask, and I honestly don't know how I lived without it before! This product has helped transform my skincare routine. It's an absolute must-have, honestly.

The Nivea Q10 Power Sleeping Melt-In Mask is just sensational

2. An Effective Exfoliator

You guys know just how much I love a good face scrub, which is why my beloved pamper nights just wouldn’t be complete without one!

I have a few different all-time favourite facial scrubs, including the No7 Total Renewal Microdermabrasion Scrub and the Nip & Fab Glycolic Scrub. But recently, I've also been enjoying liquid exfoliants, too. The Elf Gentle Peeling Exfoliant is a great option for those craving that post-facial feeling, without using anything overly-aggressive or abrasive. I've been using this a couple of times per week to keep my complexion looking radiant and youthful.

This Elf Cosmetics exfoliator is perfect for those that prefer not to rub their skin with grainy products

3. A Repairing Hair Mask

As I have such long hair (and so much of it!) it’s really important that I take great care of it to keep everything looking and feeling healthy. So, every so often, I like to treat myself to a proper hair mask and really give my hair the chance to repair a little and just to give it some real TLC.

At the moment, I’m really enjoying using the Palmer’s Coconut Oil Deep Conditioning Protein Pack - it’s just so hydrating and nourishing and after using it, my hair feels so soft and smooth. Oh and of course, the smell is amazing! I love it!

I’ve heard a few rave reviews about the Lee Stafford hair mask and I used to use the Herbal Essences Bee Strong Intensive Mask, too. I’ll probably have a change sooner or later to try these ones and some other brands, but for now, Palmer’s is ticking every single box.

4. Some High Quality Fake Tan

As you all know, I love having a tan which is why I always dedicate ample time to apply a fresh layer of St Tropez when I’m having a pamper night.

I’ve been using the St Tropez Classic Bronzing Mousse for so many years, it’s crazy, but I really do love it and I’m still complimented on my tan all the time, so it must be good!

One tanning brand that I am super keen to try right now is Amanda Harrington London. I've still got quite a decent amount of my current St Tropez mousse in the bathroom at the moment, but when I'm running low, I'll be sure to do an Amanda Harrington haul and of course, I'll share my verdict with you all on here.

My ultimate fake tanning holy grail

5. A Lovely Lip Scrub

Okay, I know, lip scrub isn’t exactly the most time-consuming product to apply, but I wanted to give you guys a full list of what I use on a pamper night, and this is something I always apply, so I simply had to include it.

I’ve used a selection of different lip scrubs in the past (mostly from Lush Cosmetics) but I’m determined to sample new new products, so I’ve added the Fresh Sugar Lip Polish to my wish list and I really want to try the L’Oreal one, too. Have you guys tried either of these? I’m desperate to know more!

6. An Amazing Facial Moisturiser

Having access to the best face cream is essential when indulging in a proper pamper session, and whilst I have a selection of favourites, right now, I just can't get enough of the incredible Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream.

This iconic cult classic beauty product has been around for years and years - which is why I have absolutely no idea how it's taken me so long to try it. Thankfully, I've finally jumped on the bandwagon and needless to say, I am completely and utterly in love. I had very high expectations with this product, and all of them have been superseded. This product really is the ultimate skincare saviour, and I'll be sharing a full review of it on my blog very soon!

The Elizabeth 8 Hour Cream Skin Protectant is without question the best face cream ever - its incredible

7. Some Moisturising Foot Cream

I find that as my feet aren’t often on show (outside of the house, that is), I don’t always give them as much care as I should do, really.

I mean, don’t get me wrong, they’re perfectly OK looking - I don’t completely abandon them! But certainly on a day to day basis, I tend not to concentrate on them an awful lot.

When I have a pamper night, though, I always ensure that I spend time giving my feet a little scrub and a rub to keep them looking and feeling lovely.

The Body Shop do a lovely peppermint foot lotion which I absolutely love. It smells insane and it leaves the toots feeling toot-ally gorgeous!

8. A Refreshing Eye Mask

I love a good eye mask! Eye masks are perfect for treating under-eye bags (be sure to check out my post 'How To Get Rid Of Eye Bags Fast' here) and preventing the first signs of ageing, So, if you're worried about fine lines, creases and those dreaded crows feet, an eye mask is just what you need.

There are tons of amazing eye masks out there on the market to choose from, with some of the best including...
So there you have it - my top 8 pamper night essentials!

I really hope you enjoyed this post & can't wait to share more with you very soon!

Lots of love,
Grace x
