11 BEAUTY PRODUCTS EVERY WOMAN NEEDS.

Beauty products are my ultimate weakness. I could spend hours hovering around the luxury skincare and makeup counters in Selfridges, and being able to recommend creams, lotions and potions to you lovely lot just brings me so much joy. I love being able to share my favourite products and to hopefully inspire some of you to try them.

So, for this blog post I thought I would share with you 11 beauty products that every woman simply needs to try. From concealer and foundation to body lotions and toners, this list is loaded with glow-giving must-haves you won’t be able to resist. I hope you enjoy!

1. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

An iconic makeup must-have with beauty cult classic status, the NARS radiant creamy concealer deserves a spot in every makeup bag. This concealer provides a seamlessly flawless coverage, but thanks to the radiant finish, it still looks super natural. I usually use the shade ‘Vanilla’ which works great with my natural skin tone and when I’ve fake tanned, I use the shade ‘Custard.’

2. Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner

What I love about this toner is the fact that it’s so nourishing. Toners can be quite drying but this one is the opposite. This toner leaves skin feeling squeaky clean and totally nourished, creating the perfect bass for any products that follow. It’s fab!

3. The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Facial Peel

This product is one of those that I honestly would never be without. Regular facials with a professional dermatologist can be incredibly expensive, and so having a few products that achieve similar results at home is essential. And for me, this is one of those products. My skin always looks a little bit pink immediately after I take it off, but that soon eases and then I am left with the softest and clearest looking complexion, ever. This peel gently but effectively removes that very top layer of the epidermis, revealing a more radiant and youthful-looking base.

4. CeraVe Foaming Hyaluronic Acid Non-Drying Cleanser

Facial washes are actually, for me, one of the hardest things to shop for. I don’t like using anything with tons of ingredients that I haven’t heard of before, but equally I like to use something that has enough ‘going on’ that it gives my skin that ultra-deep, thoroughly cleansed feeling that I’m after.

Anyway, I find that this cleanser works perfectly for me. It’s so refreshing and the combination of AHAs and BHAs gives my skin a really deep and effective cleanse. I like the fact that this cleanser lathers up a little - it’s like you know that it’s reaching into the pores and breaking down all the grime. I love it!

5. Bliss Micro Magic Microdermabrasion Scrub

Another fabulous product that I can’t get enough of right now is the Bliss Micro Magic Microdermabrasion Scrub. This wonderful face scrub is friendly on those purse strings and leaves the skin looking super radiant and glowy. What I really love about this product is that the results are instant. I spend a couple of minutes massaging those tiny salts around my face, leave the product to sit on the surface of my skin for a further two minutes and then remove every last trace with a muslin cloth. The end result? An enviously bright, pore-free complexion. I use this scrub around three times per week to keep my skin looking fresh and gorgeous.

6. Garnier Reusable Eco Pads

I’m going to share a separate post about these pads as they really have made such a difference to my skincare routine and they deserve their own moment in the spotlight (so stay tuned for that!)

Originally, I bought these pads in a bid to be more eco-friendly and to make my skincare regime sustainable, but as well as all that great green stuff, I find that these pads are more effective than popular cotton counterparts, anyway!

These pads are so super soft - they literally glide over the surface of the skin effortlessly, and unlike cotton pads, they don’t absorb product. My toner rests on top of these pads, allowing my skin to drink up all the goodness, as opposed to the pads. I bought mine on a three for two offer im boots, so I’ve got plenty to keep me going - but since they last 1000 washes, there’s no need to worry about repurchasing frequently - you can just continue to wash them after each use. Genius!

7. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation

This foundation has been my go-to base for years - irs just so good! This is another one of NARS’ most famous products, and I can confirm that it definitely does live up to its hype.

This foundation makes for the most seamless, flawless-looking complexion without looking or feeling heavy. It has a medium coverage and feels weightless on the skin, and although the finish is satin as opposed to dewy, I always find that my skin looks super radiant and glowy after applying it. It’s like getting all the benefits of a moisturising foundation without the risk of it looking greasy later on.

8. MAC Soft & Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish

For me no highlighter has never - and perhaps never will - come even close to this one. I’ve been using this for about… eight years now?! And it’s never let me down. I get complimented on my highlighter so often and Ive recommended this highlighter so so many people over the years!

9. Morphe Brow Setting Gel

This is one of the newer products in my makeup collection, but already I am just so impressed with it. I feel like a clear brow gel is an essential in every woman’s makeup bag, and this one really is up there with the best. I apply a little bit of brow pencil first to softly fill in any gaps in between the hairs, before going over the brows with this. It’s super easy to use and the end result is fabulous.

10. L'Oreal Color Riche Shine Lipstick in 642

I used to spend between £16-20 on a lipstick (which I still would, by the way, if it was a shade I absolutely loved!) but not only has this lipstick from L’OrĂ©al saved me a lot of money, it’s also honestly one of the most gorgeous I have ever used.

The perfect glossy, pinky nude, this lipstick perfectly compliments my bronze, natural-looking makeup look. I just adore it!

11. ZARA Gourmand Addict Perfume

I’ve always loved expensive perfumes, but for everyday, this fragrance from ZARA is just amazing. I personally think it has a really high end scent - a little bit musky with slightly zesty notes (it reminds me of one I used to have from coach!) and it’s £14.99 for 100ml. You honestly can’t go wrong with this - it’s brilliant.

I really hope you all enjoyed this blog post and I can't wait to share with you soon!

Lots of love,

Grace x
