My morning skincare regime is pretty much mirrored with my evening routine, but in the morning, I wash my face whilst I’m in the shower, which is actually really nice as I feel all the product I use rinses away really thoroughly this way.
My skincare regime does alter from time to time and recently I have made quite a few changes to the products that I am using. The latest addition to my skincare collection is the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. I absolutely love it and it's so affordable.
When using this product, I massage one pump onto the entirety of my face, allowing it to really work its way into my pores for a couple of minutes before wiping away with an Egyptian cotton facecloth. For an extra deep cleanse, I use my Magnitone XOXO Silicone Cleanser, which is great for getting that real squeaky-clean feel.
Once I’ve gotten out of the shower, the first thing I reach for is my toner. I know so many women and men alike that still don’t use a skin toner and I honestly just don’t know how they skip this as part of their routine.
For me, toner is easily one of the most important beauty products I own. It makes my skin feel so fresh and it really does refine my pores after cleansing. So, if you’re still a toner virgin, i think it’s about time that changed!
The toner I’m using right now is the Revolution Skincare 2.5% Glycolic Acid Tonic. I absolutely adore this toner and I feel it really does benefit my skin massively. The bottle lasts for ages and a tiny little bit of product goes a heck of a long way.
After toning, the next thing on my agenda is feeding moisture back into my skin, and I do this by applying 3-4 drops of my trusty Revolution Hyaluronic Acid Serum.
This product claims to plump-up and hydrate the skin, and it honestly really does work. I absolutely love it.
Serum applied, I then move onto the final part of my morning skin routine - my beloved Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream! I honestly can't believe how long it took me to finally try this product but oh my gosh, it's just gorgeous. I try not to apply too much of the cream in the morning as it's incredibly intense and takes a little while to absorb into the skin, which can cause a little interference with makeup etc. But honestly, this skincare product really is an absolute must-have. It's a complete complexion saviour!
I really hope you enjoyed this blog post and I look forward to sharing more with you all very soon.
Until next time my little lovelies!
Lots of love,
Grace x
